students form a group. Suppose you are the curators of a Hong
Kong Modern Art Museum, you want to curate a new exhibition of your
museum's collection. The new exhibition will provide a new perspective, a new
way of seeing of your museum's collection for the audience. You are the cultural
interpreters. Which artists and which works will you include in this show? If
you think the choice of the artists is not enough, you might invite 1, 2 guest
artists to join the show. If you have another topic about contemporary art
of Hong Kong that you want to study and the artist is out of the list, please
talk to the instructor and get her approval of your topic.
Use a PowerPoint
to present your curatorial idea. Is
there any selling point of your show? (Be Creative!) Please also write down the
jobs of each member on the last page of the PowerPoint. Possible

name of the show; -The curatorial statement of the show; -The execution
of the show; -The exhibition space (can be an ordinary museum or a public
space); -The artists; -Art work examples; -The target audience of
the show; -Any catalogue of the show? If yes, besides introduction of the
art works and the artists, any special content or design of the catalogue?
- Any talk/ forum/ educational programs/ event/ party/ concert/ performance/ souvenir
for the show? (You don't need to do all these things, you just need to work on
those items which can help achieve the aim of the show.) Criteria
