Most of you have got through the FYP presentation. After a few good sleeps and fun, you should start preparing your e-portfolio (it contains 30% of your GT).

The deadline of submitting your e-portfolio is 21 May. Please submit 3 copies of your e-portfolio (in WEB format, burn into a DVD or CD) before 3.30pm to general office.

Your e-portfolio will be uploaded to SCM archive, please use relative links and be case sensitive (E not equal to e, a not equal to A). If you use a blog-style for your e-portfolio, please provide the link and save the content as a backup into your DVD/CD, try to make it viewable in a static environment.

In addition, you also need to submit the “FYP Archive Form” on the same day and time, you only need to submit ONE copy of the form, don’t put it in the e-portfolio envelope, please submit the form separately on that day. You should provide some documentation materials (photos and/or video) with the form if your work is an installation / performance (please burn them in a CD/DVD and attach it with the form). I won’t accept your e-portfolio if you don’t submit the form.

CIL teaching staff will review & evaluate your e-portfolio under 4 aspects:

In making your e-portfolio, please consider the following:

1. Think clearly who your ideal audience is:

You will need to state in the assessment form who your ideal audience is, and reviewer will evaluate your portfolio in the light of your choice.

2. Since the e-portfolio is used to help you seek jobs/graduate school/museum exhibition, you can put works that are not school works. So long as you think that some particular works you have done can demonstrate your ability and interests, please put them into your portfolio.

3. Balance your work and co-curricular activities (exchange program, internship, exhibition administrator/curator, etc.)

4. Inside the portfolio, you should have a CV in .pdf format so that people can download it.

5. Please put 3 copies into 3 envelops.
