Assessment

1. Class attendance
Your presence of the class is important. 2 absences (for whatever reason) will have no effect of your final grade. 1 more absence will deduct 1 sub- grade of your final grade and so on. Late or leave earlier are the same as absence. 5 absences are excessive and will lead to a failure in this course.
Such disruptions as talking, moblie phone ringing and answering the phone will not be tolerated. Inattentive behavior will reflect in final grading.
2. Participation 10%
This class requires active participation in the critiques.
3. Assignments 90%

1. Journal 20% (week 2-12, every 2 weeks 1 art work or art work idea, should be related to the class or art history/ other artists, D/L May 7, 6pm)
2.
Feedback for your classmates 20% (week 3- 13 + final work, give feedback to at least 6 classmates and during the presentation, D/L Mar. 24, May 14)
3. Classwork 5% (No resubmission, simple grading, just pass/fail/excellent)
4.
Mid term art work 20% (show one of the finished art work in your journal, D/L Mar. 1)
5.
