Assignment Collection System - Stduent

How to submit ACS assignment from student

With ACS, students can submit their assignments by copying their computer files to an Assignment Folder for a particular course assignment in following ways:

  1. The Assignment Folder will be created automatically under your home directory (U:\public_html\CourseCode\AssisgnmentFolder) after your course's teaching staff has submitted the assignment job in ACS.
  2. Login any PC in SCM laboratory area.
  3. Copy computer files (your assignment) to the following location:

U:\public_html\CourseCode\AssignmentFolder

(e.g. U:\public_html\sm0000\test01)

These files will be collected at given time. (Concerning course's teaching staff will inform you the deadline of submission and the name of Assignment Folder)

  2. Login any PC in SCM laboratory area.
  3. Copy computer files (your assignment) to the following location:

X:\ACS\CourseCode\AssignmentFolder

(e.g. X:\ACS\sm0000\test)

These files will be collected at given time. (Concerning course's teaching staff will inform you the deadline of submission and the name of Assignment Folder)

  2. Login SWEB server by FTP client (e.g. FileZilla) for following information:

Host: sweb.cityu.edu.hk
Username: EID (aamet0506 is only an example, you should use your EID)
Password: YourPassword

  1. Copy computer files (your assignment) from "Local Site " to "Remote Site" for the following location.

/EID/public_html/CourseCode/AssignmentFolder

(e.g. /aamet0506/public_html/sm0000/assignment1)


These files will be collected at given time. (Concerning course's teaching staff will inform you the deadline of submission and the name of Assignment Folder)

  1. Change the path to your assignment folder in Remote site
    3a) Double Click the indicated folder to leave your personal folder level


3b) Change path to /xdrive/EID/ACS/CourseCode/AssignmentFolder.
3c) Copy computer files (your assignment) from "Local Site " to "Remote Site" for the following location.

/xdrive/EID/ACS/CourseCode/AssignmentFolder

(e.g., /xdrive/00700100/ACS/sm0000/test)

These files will be collected at given time. (Concerning course's teaching staff will inform you the deadline of submission and the name of Assignment Folder)
