Writing a Chinese and English Press Release

Suppose you are the manager of Future Art Festival. You need to write a press release to announce the coming 2008 Art Festival. This press release will be sent to the educational page of the newspapers.

Here is the information: Future Art Festival 2008 program

Guidelines:
-The major content of the press release should not be more than 1 pages for both Chinese or English version.
-Please follow the format of press release.
-Think of how to make the editor of the educational page of newspaper use your press release. Interesting? Informative? Impressive? Who are the readers of educational page? Will the readers be interested to know your festival?
-Do not copy the original introduction of the program. Think of a new perspective to sell the festival.
-Try to use a key theme to attract editor and to tie different programs.
-Your boss will be happy if you can include as many programs as you can in the press release but s/he also understands that not all the programs are directly or indirectly related to education. You can only highlight one or several programs.
- Do not just list out the events without content.
- This is a piece of "news" writing. Do not make it personal and try to avoid the words "I" "you" "we".
- This is a proper news announcement which delivered from your organisation. Think of the tone of the article.
- Creative and eye catching is important. Effective communication is more important.
- Part of the press release is more important than the rest. You can use font and font size to make the different. However, avoid using many different fonts and font sizes in one page and make the article not easy to read.
