Assessment

1. Class attendance
Your presence of the class is important. 2 absences (for whatever reason) will have no effect of your final grade. 1 more absence will deduct 2 sub grade of your final grade and so on. Late or leave earlier are the same as absence. 5 absences are excessive and will lead to a failure in this course.
Classes out of the class time do not count attendance.
Such disruptions as talking, eating, moblie phone ringing and answering the phone will not be tolerated.
Inattentive behavior will reflect in final grading.
2. Participation 10%
This class requires active participation in the critiques.

3. Assignments 90%

Assignments
1. Curate an exhibition for Fotan Artist (presentation in class, Feb. 25) 20%
2. Present arts censorship cases (presentation in class, Mar. 17) 15%
3. Writing a Chiness & English press release (D/L: Apr. 8, 5pm sharp) 20%
4. Writing a sponsorship proposal (D/L: May19, 5pm sharp) 35%


General Rules

- Students must ensure that the assignment submitted is complete. No resubmission of additional pages will be accepted.
- The assignments should be handed in as hard copy to the instructor's mail box before deadline. Digital copy, fax copy, email or other formats will not be accepted.
- Late assignments will cause a deduction of 1 sub-grade a day. Assignment will not be accepted 5 days after the deadline.
-You can resubmit your assignment before May 19. The grading of the resubmitted assignment will be stricter, usually 2 sub-grade lower.
