Tre Marie wins Performing Art category in Asiagraph 2008, is an interactive audio-visual dance improvised performance. The system in progress is an innovation of RF-ID (radio-frequency identification) technology for dance performance, which improvise live visuals on stage. The performance is a reconstructed architecture of spaces, encodes the spatial aesthetics of the interaction between human, theatrical space and cinematic space.It is a collaboration between Annie On Ni Wan, Hiroki Nishino from DXARTS & Pamela Pietro, Department of Dance, University of Washington. Tre Marie premiered at DXARTS concert and have been performed in ACM Conference 2006, UCSB, Santa Barbara.

ASIAGRAPH is the organization which has been cooperated with people, government, and companies in the Asia, and is exhibition event on contents for a more prosperous human life by putting together with Asian cultural contents and IT technology.

Experiment done a while a ago on speech synthesis and natural language processing, algorithmic processed the original script and remade the dialogue for the movie "Brazil" by computer voice in a mixture of english, czech, italian, french, german, finnish, etc. Software written in Festival and NLTK. Lumiloop is a modular system of program and display panels that can be chained together to form a reactive bracelet. Each display module features a small 8x8 LED matrix, dynamically driven by an interchangeable program module. Max's painting in our lab

To echo the event of the Chinese University Student Magazine, below is a painting by one of the Master of Fine Art (MFA) student, Max Willis. He is a foreign student from Germany. From time to time, he posts his painting outside the wall of the graduate student lab.

One day, a number of office staffs asked me if the below painting was an assignment. I said no. One of the staffs asked if there may be any concerns about the nudity in the painting. I said no.

Couple of days later, the painting was removed by Max. He mentioned that there were complaints in the School about the nudity in the painting shown there. He had a chance to talk to the senior management. He was advised to demonstrate local sensitivity in displaying his works.

After another brief discussion with Max, we thought it is necessary to bring out

This incident happened well before the recent Chinese University student magazine event.
The painting was removed not by Max himself.
